☆ Featured Song of the Month: Foolio "Change Up" ☆

“Lately everybody wanna change up...” Foolio’s words ring true almost immediately as the song begins. The Jacksonville born artist comes with an unmatched tenacity on this Clooney produced record. This song has it’s own place in the over saturated world of “trap” music. A refreshing take on a sound that is reaching so many right now.

A different pace then what we are used to hearing from the Florida based rapper. The record opens up immediately with a quick sermon from Foolio himself. The theme of the record is clear from the get go. “Everybody suspect if you ask us!” The hypnotizing string section is accompanied by Clooney’s heavy hitting 808’s and hi-hats constantly moving the song forward. The guitar solo throughout the song adds a very nostalgic timbre to the record. We are definitely not going to “Change Up” with this one! This song breathes a new life into Foolio’s ever growing catalog.

A team up fit for a Marvel movie. Foolio & Clooney are making magic together and we are here for the ride. An unlikely duo that we will be keeping a close eye on. Foolio is carving out a lane of his own. 2022 has clearly been a big year for the Florida artist and he is wrapping it up strong.
