The LA based artist has been making small strides this year, gearing towards something much greater. Riyuki’s sound packs a punch reminiscent of high energy nostalgic EDM. Accompanied by LA based Producer & Mix Engineer Clooney’s signature heavy-hitting 808’s. The two have crafted a unique sound together that is not falling on deaf ears.
Riyuki’s newest single “Wavedash” is no exception. An uptempo Drum and Bass inspired Trap-Pop smash. The Clooney and Sevaqk produced record begins with uplifting power synth’s with drums echoing modern “Hyper Pop” inspired sounds. From beginning to end the track takes you on a euphoric journey. Riyuki’s vocals and 808 during the main parts of the song are definitely stand out. The record standing at just above a minute and a half constantly makes you want to return to the track over and over. More replay value then a JRPG!
