Gamble, the hardcore powerhouse from Los Angeles, has arrived with their explosive new EP, Bound By Blood. A blend of aggression, passion, and raw energy, the band’s sound is an intense ride through hardcore and metal influences that reflect their diverse musical backgrounds.
The band initially formed from three members of the hardcore act Watch Out—Saul, Robby, and Sergy—who came together with a vision to create something heavy and authentic. After releasing their first demo, they expanded their lineup by adding two members from Echoes in Corridor, a progressive downtempo deathcore band that has been inactive since 2020. The addition of these members brought a darker, more refined edge to the hardcore base they had already established.
This combination of influences has created a unique sound, marked by furious riffs, brutal breakdowns, and lyrics that explore loyalty, survival, and struggle. From the very first track, "A.C.E.", Bound By Blood sets the tone with relentless energy that doesn’t let up. Stand out tracks include “Snakes Eyes” and returning single “Suffocating”. Both have raw, real, and authentic punch to them that is missing today from a lot of heavy music.

Q: What are some of the band’s influences? A: Our main influences are Hatebreed, Merauder, Backtrack, Desolated, and Madball. We take a lot from the early hardcore sound and mix it with the heavier sides of our influences, bringing that energy into our own music.
Q: If your band had a motto, what would it be? A: “Bound by Blood.” It's a phrase that represents everything we stand for. We’re all in this together, through thick and thin. It’s the bond that holds us.
Q: What’s one song you’d recommend to first-time listeners of Gamble? A: Definitely “Suffocating.” It’s raw, it’s real, and it captures everything we’re about musically and emotionally. It’s a great starting point for anyone new to our sound.
